  Sundays - Church Choir

The Parish Church of St James' Weybridge

The choir exists to lead and support the worship of the church through music both at regular weekly services and on other special occasions. It is a mixed voice choir of over sixty choristers. Anybody wishing to join is made very welcome. No auditions are held. Our young choristers are prepared for RSCM Dean's Bishop's and St Cecilia Junior and Senior awards.

Our comprehensive library contains music of all periods and each week an anthem is sung at the Sunday Eucharist service. The choir has also sung evensong in Guildford Cathedral and Westminster Abbey on a number of occasions. The choir performs an annual concert and has been responsible for raising over £88,000 for local charities.

Junior Choir

The choir for 5-7 year olds - is growing and having great fun learning happy-sing! Please contact Lizzie Drapper or Christine Best for further details.

Healthy Walks are a round the year programme of walks that provide an enjoyable way to improve your health and fitness. Participants are encouraged to walk briskly. For health benefits you should breath more deeply and feel warmer when you walk.

Healthy Walks in Weybridge, Hersham, Cobham, Esher & many other areas of Elmbridge

Please choose the grading and length of time your selected walk takes carefully and according to your ability. If you are a novice walker please choose MOD 1 or less.
Although we do attempt to keep to the timing, a degree of flexibility is needed. Stops for coffee are usually half and hour. All ages can participate in Healthy Walks, but a parent or carer must supervise walkers under 14. No dogs unless stated otherwise - except assistance dogs; they must be kept on a lead. Be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear, also bring some drinking water.
